I spent two days touring Valdez and Prince William Sound recently and found no damage nor animosities among the people who live there. I also spent two weeks along the pipe line and found everything in order and well kept. I am at a loss as to this hostility, they spent billions cleaning up and were instructed to stop because they were going too far. Exxon/Moble must be doing something correctly for I see them frequently being critized for making obsene profits. I fear few people realize how much gasoline we use. I saw in "NC State Magazine," that we here in just NC alone used over 441,000,000 gallons of gasoline LAST MONTH. What are we going to replace that amount of energy with?

I agree Robin, I had to post this because I keep the cat's cages right next to a window and this morning I kept smelling that scent when the breeze blew and then I went and smelled the flowers... and smiled :)

Yes, I completely agree with you, Ken! I was fairly horrified after visiting your place to realize that I didn't take pictures. I was hoping you wouldn't feel slighted, because I will always remember the visit. I am not a multitasker. My better half is and takes lots of pictures. I can take a picture, or I can participate in the event, I cannot do both. That is what I am afraid of. This year it seems to be very weird, it has been 35-40 for the last week and it looks like we are going to get another week of 40's. We had plenty of snow but it has already melted mostly away usually we still have 10' drifts and it is supposed to be -15 to maybe 10 degrees F max not 40! our drifts are down to maybe 3-5' I just hope it doesn't get too cold because a few of my heucheras, my Jack frost and some thyme that was just planted last year are now uncovered, half in mud half frozen.
