| I suppose if you switch the genders around, it could work for men too...
I found this on Craigslist....I did NOT write it myself, but I thought it was a very good message, and wanted to share it... If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away.
Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache. Stop trying to change yourself for a relationship that's not meant to be. Slower is better. Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy. If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve then heck no, you can't "be friends". A friend wouldn't mistreat a friend. Don't settle. If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is. Don't stay because you think "it will get better." You'll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better. The only person you can control in a relationship is you. Avoid men who've got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women. He didn't marry them when he got them pregnant, why would he treat you any differently?

| Excellent advice Jean! This definitely applies to either gender. I know just the person I am sending this to -- hope it helps. |

| Wow! Someone's figured it all out! Three little lines explains everything. Do this, don't do that and everything will work out and you'll stay safe. |

| Thank you so very much. I am a widow and have been dating for six years. Your message has clearly shown me my mistakes in dating. Although I was left disappointed in my last relationship, I am thankful I can still feel and give love. Yes, there are good men and good women available, and with time, I will meet someone who will share a happiness in life and love. I'm taking it slow and keeping my chin up. My best to all. |
