*with nap or **without nap ?

Which would crepe-back satin be?

I'm using the matte crepe side as right side. So, will it matter which direction I pin the pattern pieces? The bottom of front could face left and bottom of back face right?

Kathi is right. You MUST have the pattern pieces all face the same way, or you will have two different colors. My daughter had a brides maid dress once that wasn't done right and it looked terrible. I had to make her a whole new dress in one night. It was a nightmare.

As a rule of thumb, if I am unsure...I always use the with nap layout...

When i worked in the fabric store,had a lady come in with a dress she had made with crepe back satin.She wanted us to refund her money,because she said"the color wasn't right,it was faded in places",these were her words.So we asked how she had done the layout,she didn't even understand the question.So we pulled out the pattern so she could see what we meant,and sure enough she hadn't followed the "with nap"layout.So she ended up having to buy more fabric,but we gave her a discount on it and told her to make sure she was using the correct layout.
