SERGER timing adjustment

Hello--

I recently purchased a used Baby Lock ProLine Serger--it's about 15 years old. While practicing on it, I broke 2 needles, and I'm not sure why. However, that appears to have thrown the timing off, and the woman I bought it from says I need to bring it in for a timing adjustment. I was wondering (rough estimate) how much that would cost, and (in general) how long it takes to get done. I have some time off coming up and I would really like to use this thing. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I'd call around and ask. There is so much variation as to cost, depending on where you live. And how long it would take depends on the place you take it.

I agree with grandma.When you call around also ask if they service them in the store,or if they send them out,as that will make a difference in how long it taks also.
