I don't know what you mean, but I'd like to. I use a lot of bias tape. Seems like my mom had something for her sewing machine years ago.

I've always just cut strips of fabric diagonally(on the bias), sewn them together and pressed them. Tedious, yes, but if you need a specific color or pattern it beats driving all over town, especially with gas prices the way they are :D

I do the same as noiwi.I never find ready made bias in the colors i want,need.

There's a description on this blog for making bias tape without a metal bias tape makers. It's the November 23 entry. It looks like what you are asking about - it requires a ruler, a needle, an iron and ironing board and a strip of fabric. I haven't tried it yet but I'm going to next time I make bias tape.
