THanks so much. My mother keeps telling me I should go into business doing this but I'm afraid that if I "had" to do it, it wouldn't be fun anymore. Not to mention that I have 4 young kids to raise.

I've made gowns for my friend's when they had babies but they were all gifts. So this is my first "paid" job.

The gown and hat are gorgeous!!! You did a fantastic job.
The mother will love it and I am sure it will be kept in their family forever : )

Thanks so much for the wonderful compliments. It is REALLY REALLY nice to hear b/c I'm very critical of my work, and I don't think they're as good as other people do. This will help remind me that I can do a pretty good job.

I just wanted to add that the mom picked up the gown and was very happy. She's going to take her to have professional portraits done and is going to send me a picture.
