Hi
I am making a Christmas stocking and a pillow with piping.

If it is the cording with the lip on it,baste it to one side ,then with right sides together, sew it in place, then when you flip it,it will be nicely placed between the front and the back of the pillow/stocking.

If you're using cording without the lip,you can whip stitch it on or use a fabric glue,(NO Glue GUN),like fabric tac,or aleen's fabric glue.
