Made a snuggie

I used one of those $4 Microviber throws from WM 50"X60" and made one. I cut off about 11" from one end to make the sleeves then measured on each side of the front where I wanted to sew them in and cut the slits. then sewed them in. Works out very nice.I'm short so it worked out fine for me and kitty likes to "snuggle" on my lap

The one I bought was so big there was just too much material.

Great idea, LOL I am vertically challenged also, sounds better than short.. They are extremely long.

After using the free online pattern, I have used a caftan pattern with for a few then, my friend sent me Simplicity Pattern 2490 she got it for 99cents at JoAnns comes in small thru large sizes.

Here is a link that might be useful: Snuggie by Simplicity 2490

I think I saved the instructions for the caftan I'll try one of those too.
Saw the Simplicity pattern the other day. I wish we still had our JoAnns here
