Help with treadle sewing machine?

| I recently acquired an Eclipse treadle sewing machine, have just started to use it and adore it!!! However, the woman I sew with broke the one needle and I am having a heck of a time finding more- there is almost 0 information about this machine, so I wonder if it was manufactured by another company. I am thinking possibly Davis, as the needle it requires is a 2" flat shank and that was the needle used by the Davis and Minnesota treadle machines- anybody have anything to share? Thanks! |

Take the needle to a dealer they should be able to match it up with one of the current needles.
My SIL sent away and paid a lot for 2 needles then found out she could use a common brand. |

| There is a treadle group on yahoo that has been great at asisting me with any issues about my machine. If you plan to use this machine often, consider buying a pkt of 100 needles of most used size...time and $ saver. Enjoy. |
