new white sewing machine need help

I just bought a new white model XL1760 sewing machine. from the ad and the person I talked to at the store where I bought the machine from I thought that I would be able to embroider with this machine. it advertises that it has 64 different stitches.

Once I got the machine I found out that there are no instructions on how to embroider with it. I am living in S. Korea right now and am unable to get any info on how to go about embroidering. I am hoping that someone will help me figure out how to get started and what all supplies I need to process. thanks for any and all help

I just looked at their website and didn't see your model number listed, but it looks like the others that start with 17 are sewing only. If it says "64 stitches" they are refering to decorative stitches that are prorammed in the machine.

If it didn't come with an embroidery module and hoops, then it's probably not an embroidery machine.

I agree with what Donna said. My 1964 singer says in the book it can be used for free motion embroidery, but it is not an embroidery machine. I didn't know white made an embroidery machine. Most are brother, singer, pfaff, viking, baby lock.
