Looking for hat pattern made from 1 inch gingham check material. You use the corners of the check to smock that makes the sides of the hat and then you fold up a section that makes the brim. Elastic is sewn in to make it fit the head. It is cute and comfortable and was made for cancer patients who had lost their hair.

Would like to give this to a new friend who gave me a nylon net scrubbie to make and will work on that as soon as I get the sample.
