Big Patterns?

Does anyone make patterns for Big and Tall people? My son wears about a 3X and I've been wanting to make "family outfits" for Christmas like PJ's or fleece jackets for the whole family, but haven't because I don't want to leave him out. RTW Big and Tall clothing is not only hard to find, but quite expensive. I just can't find patterns big enough and I don't have experience adjusting patterns to different sizes. Any help is appreciated.

The pattern companies(McCall's and Simplicity)have finally started producing them!
