I am looking for fabric to have my sofa and chair slipcovered in. I LOVE the fabrics offered by Maine Cottage but I can't afford $60/yd. Does anyone know where I can purchase similar upholstery fabrics with bright seaside colors, stripes and whimsical patterns? I have searched and searched but nothing comes close. I would like to stay under $30/yd.

I don't know what Maine Fabric looks like, but here are lots of pretty ones, and you get a discount if it is your first order!

I have 25 yards of Maine Cottage discontinued fabric I will sell for $375. It is light pink embossed with roses.

Those remind me of some Susan Sargent fabrics. Check out www.housefabric.com.

Thank-you everybody for all of the suggestions! I found some great ones actually that just went on sale at Maine Cottage. Then I saw a chair upholstered in Waverly Portsmouth Pineapple and decided I had to have that fabric. Now, I'm just looking for a coordinating stripe. Thanks so much again!
