| Has anyone ever tried the Prym-Dritz plier kit, used for putting eyelets and ring snaps onto a garment? I got one some time back but I'm not smart enough to figure out how to use it so it has sat in a drawer for a few years. I must say the directions leave a lot to be desired. Any advice you could give me, or a site that could explain it a LOT better than what was with the kit would surely be appreciated. Thanks in advance. MT |

| I've destroyed many garments with those darn things. I had more luck with the cheap hammer pounded snap setter. I did have marginal luck putting in eyelets but the results were far far far from professional. And I could only cut holes with my snippers - the pliers destroy fabric. I'm going to a sewing expo at the end of Sept and am taking a class on leather - hopefully they will cover better ways to acheive better results. |
