Recommend a new iron

I have seen older posts on this subject...but want an updated opinion.

I am a hobby sewer, and am looking for a reliable steam iron. I have had a cheapie Black & Decker which never got hot enough, and the one I am using now is a Sunbeam SteamMaster, which has gone south (discoloring the ironing bd with it). I want to pay under $100 and don't need a fancy schamcy unit, but do want something "good."

Too much to ask?

I am looking for reliable steam, hot temps, minimal if any spitting and no sticking.

Was looking for Rowenta, but after reading old posts here, I am dubious.

Helpful feedback would be helpful!!

Thanks
