 o
Pin curl clip tip...

I recently discovered that using "pin curl clips", the kind we used years ago before hot curlers came into being, works great to use instead of pins on the binding of quilts. Easy to pull off, etc.

Sally Beauty sells them for $1.99 per 12 count pkg. Best if you can dig deep in your closet and find clips just occupying space or ask friends if they would like to part with their clips.

They also work well when you are adding a fringe/ribbon/trim to lampshades...
Glue
clip
let dry
voila'...fancy lampshade at DIY price!

The local fabric store sells them in the sewing notions section labeled for hems. I guess it's better than pins, especially on fabrics where pins might leave visible holes.
