Why would you put an opening AND ribbing in a bib. That seems like overkill to me. I just use ribbing and pull it over the head like a tee shirt.

I agree with you Soonergrandmom about the opening and ribbing and that is really the way I made my bibs w/out the opening, but for some think the opening is a good way to take the bib off if it is really messy. I say just wash the babies face.
