First of all, I am a thrift store junkie. I love searching out my favorite haunts for so many things to do my crafting projects with. Recently, I came across some beautiful brocade type fabric. There were two different prints that coordinated with each other. There were several large pieces already cut but I could tell there was enough to do a large project. Of course I had to have it. When I got home I could not wait to get started on the idea I had. I made a lined corded bed cover with two pieced pillow shams. There is enough fabric left to make nice valances for the two windows in our guest room. I will have to wait until I can get cornice boards made. Now I am finishing up a quilted throw pillow to match made with some remnants I already had. The best part of this whole project was that the fabric was only $5.00.
