pattern for 12" doll baby panties (NOT Barbie dolls)

Went to our local Walmart just to find that they are no longer carrying Simplicity or McCalls patterns, yet, they have plenty of fabric. They only have a couple racks of New Look patterns...priced $2.99, or somewhere in that area, don't really remember.

My mom likes making doll baby clothes but she doesn't have a pattern for the panties, and I told her I would find her one. Last week JoAnn's, which is an hour away, had Butterick patterns on sale. I think they did have patterns for the 18" dolls, but none for doll babies. Patterns are so expensive that even with 40% off, I would still be paying around $9.00. All I want is a pattern for the panties that will fit a 12" doll baby. Tried to find one that I could print online with no luck. I would probably have better luck going to Goodwill and buying a 12" doll with panties that I can take apart and use to trace a pattern for my mom. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
