The larger Joann's have hanging fabric samples that are special order only. These are decorator fabrics.
Or you could go to a decorator and look at their books.

Some Hancock's fabric stores have a decorator department.

Stores that offer home decor made to order (curtains, slipcovers, etc.)have those swatch books. & yeah - interior decorators have 'em for sure....

Thank you for your help. I'm in the Fort Lauderdale area and I must be doing the wrong online searches. I've called a couple of Interior Designers, but getting an answer from them was difficult because they spend the entire conversation trying to make an appointment at my house when all I want is to look through their book of samples. I will keep trying, eventually something will come up. Thanks again. Jos

Hancock's of Paducah (not the same company as Hancock's) - has on-line catalogue and will send you an actual catalogue - very good quality fabric.
