Does anyone have a Singer Futura CE-100?

My niece has an embroidery sewing machine made by Singer, model Futura CE-100. She bought it used and when she got it home she realized it didn't have the original software that would have come with the machine. She's tried to contact the person she bought it from, but they're ignoring her. My guess is they don't have it and fear she wants her money back. She loves the machine and just wants the software so she can use it for embroidery too.

She'd also like to get the add-on software that allows her to convert clip art into embroidery files. If anyone has either the original software disc and would be willing to make a copy for her or knows of a way to find it less expensive than ordering it through Singer and/or knows if there's a place to order the add-on software for less money, we would really appreciate your help.

I don't know positively about Singer, but my experience with all the embroidery software products is that you need the original disk with it's individual registration code. And they can only be registered a few times - like when you buy a new computer. Copying won't work.

Replacement software is available, and is probably your best option. Do a google search, and you'll turn up many sites selling it.

Thank you Mary, I think she has done that. Since I didn't get a reply here I also posted this on the decorating forum and a couple ladies posted about a 3rd party software that's less expensive but works with this machine.
