If this is for the ruffle on the bottom yes there is-- lay the strips out one on top of the other with both wrong sides down. Measure out a square at one end and draw a diagonal line across the square. Flip it over and transfer the line to the other piece. This is your sewing line. Now turn them so both right sides are together and sew along the line and you will have a mitered long piece of fabric
