Only you can answer that question.It depends on what you want and need,write those things down then go to a reputable sewing machine store,not joann's or walmart and compare your list with what they have vs what you want and how much you want to spend.

A lot of places around the country the county fairs are going on and that's a good place to go look and they have some good fair specials.
