Sew for the troops with left over/extra fabric

I know anyone who sews has lots of left over fabric, sometimes it was something that was never even used. Service members in Iraq and Afghanistan are always asking for pillowcases, some even ask for lounge pants and surgical scrub caps. IF you have extra fabric and a few extra moments please think of making something for the men and women 'over there.' To find who needs these items, go to www.anysoldier.com, click on "Where to Send," click on "Search" then type in scrub caps, or pillow into the request area and you will come up with a list of names to choose from. Click on one of these to read their post. Great way to use up what you don't need. They will be most thankful!!!!

I copied and pasted the entire post that you sent so when I retire in a few months I will plan on following thru and make up some things and send them out. My nephew will be going back into action this month. Third time he is going into Iraq Di
