| Haven't posted for quite awhile, but since just got out of the hospital, have to be good for awhile, so I am moving toward the quiet things. I am interested in making some slacks and since I have more in the front than the back, need to take a little tuck in the back part of the slack pattern, How much should I take out and how far up in the leg do I do it> Would appreciate any help. |

| I hope you are recovering well from whatever you were hospitalized for. I have never made slacks, but have this great book that may help. It's called Pattern Fitting with confidence by Nancy Zieman. It might be at your local library. I purchased mine online for a very reasonable price (used, but in excellent condition). There is a chapter devoted to "Fitting Pants". It has very nice diagrams and step by step instructions. -Laurie |
