Murphy, as a lady who crochets premie hats for the hospitals , I think it would be a wonder idea to turn them into baby hats for new borns and donate to your local hospital..they can always use baby hats for the newborns.. or for the shelters for the little babies who come there with their mothers. save them for the winter and add to short sleeve t-shirts and make them long sleeve again ...LOL

Re-use the cuffs for winter PJ's. I always have a hard time finding rib-knit for wrist and ankle cuffs.

Noinwi...Duh...I have always wondered about "rib knit" when I see patterns calling for a wrist or ankle cuff. Wondered where to find. Now I have about 120 of them...I am set. Gonna have a new grandbaby myself soon and can use some for her. Thanks for the great tip.

Murphy, if ever you need rib knit for patterns go to your local fabric store and tell them what you want and they will show you what it is.. you can buy it for yards to just 1/4 yard.. and it works great.. used it many times for my grandson's play outfits.

I can see quilt blocks, 2 to make legs for toddlers pants/capris, bean bags, doll clothes,trash bag holders, cut bias strips for trims, - I'm sure there are many uses there! It sounds interesting!
