singer merritt 212

Have a small singer merritt machine with the thread holder on the back. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to thread it. Anyone have an idea? It was gotten at a yard sale without the manual.

Thanks greengirl

Thanks kathi, not the one, tho. This machine is smaller than a featherweight - 10" in length and 8" in height and the thread holder sits down low on the bottom right side in the back.

Have your tried emailing their customer support? Maybe they can send you an instruction book. Colleen

I have the same problem. Someone gave me a Singer Merritt 212 with no thread holder attachment. I have looked for parts and a manual but not found them yet. My sister sent me this website.

Check our this web site as they have a manual listed that you can purchase for $14.95. There is a Singer store in my area so I am going to check them oput also and see if they can be of any help.

Try this website. It has threading diagrams. Colleen
