Jo-Ann's does carry Butterick, or at least they had been for years. I haven't been there for several months, but I bet they still do carry them. As far as how it's pronounced, I've always pronounced it butter+ick, but I could be wrong.

I just checked their website. They carry both Butterick and Vogue, as well as Simplicity and McCalls. Down at the very bottom of their website is a store locater link.

Check with Beverly's ,i used to work at one of their stores a few years ago and we carried them,and i think they probably still do.

My JoAnn's does carry Butterick (which I pronounce as but+trick, probably incorrect now that I think about it). If you don't need/want the pattern immediately, they usually rotate which pattern manufacturer is on sale, so each one probably goes on sale monthly. I try to wait until the sale to pay $1.99 rather than the $10-15 for each pattern.

If you get real motivated, keep a list of all the patterns you are interested in (by manufacturer). When the manufacturer is on sale, you can make a quick trip to the store, pull out your list and grab the ones that you have already researched.
