What to do with Pendleton wool pieces?

Posted by mbarstow (My Page) on

I have just acquired some wonderful Pendleton wool plaid fabric (about 1 yd. each) and camel hair. Anyone have any ideas what I could creatively do with it? I thought of just cutting it into 6'' squares and making a blanket, but I'm open to all suggestions.

you could also do a color-blocked coat if you have enough yardage. What a treat to get nice Pendleton wool!

How many yards, and do the plaids and colors compliment each other? You could make scarves, hats, vests, maybe skirts or jumpers for little girls.

Also, maybe you don't need to rush. I have had three yards of pink wool with lining to match for at least twenty years and I cannot think of a thing to do with it. And I have three dtrs and five young gdtrs! Problems, problems, problems.

I have always wanted to make those little cloche hats out of nice wool. Not too big purses - real tailored with covered buttons?
