Help with pattern please....

Years ago I made strip pieced quilted vests where you turned the lining right side out through the shoulders,,,but the technique escapes me,,,does anyone know what Im speaking of or could someone send me a digram???? Thanks in advance....

Sew the armholes, neck, front edges & bottom edges. Leave the side seams open & pull each side of the front through on each side of the back at the shoulder area. Sew side seams of the vest & portion of lining as far as you can on the machine. Finish the rest by hand with invisible stitches. You will be bundling it some to sew the side seams. I leave the opening under the arm of the lining.
