How do YOU do it?

Getting ready to make some slax that have the attached elastic waist. I always some way or other do this so that it doesn't look exactly right. Is there any way that you can attach the elastic, then turn it over, or do you have to insert the elastic after making the "tunnel" for the insertion of the elastic. I make it "do" but it doesn't look right. I hope I put this in a way you can understand. Anyway, thanks for any hints. - Barb

It depends on the style of the pants I'm making. There's some good information at the Threads magazine site that might be helpful.
