how much yardage needed?

HI, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me approximately how many yards I'll need to slipcover an ottoman. The upholstered part is about 21x30" and 14" tall. The fabric is 54" wide.

I figure 2 yards should cover it, but how do you estimate for welting?
