Your iron doesn't steam at all? That must be an old iron, I don't think they even make dry irons anymore :)

Well, I'd mist the trim lightly with water then iron it--by setting the iron on the trim then lift & move to the next section, not like when you iron a shirt & slide the iron from one spot to the next.

Don't go too heavy or you may crush or crease your trim (unless you want that). You may even want to hold the iron just above the trim if ironing it creases it. Good luck with your project.

Thanks for the help! My iron does steam. I meant one of those steaming contraptions that get wrinkles out of clothes while they are still hanging. I did try ironing the trim and it seems to help a lot.
