light weight sewing machine wanted still

I gave up on the i sew cute, it did work but there was something missing that held the bobbin in place. I bought it on ebay in a box, but with that missing part, I can't use it. I noticed there is brother on amazon, that weight 13 pounds and the light weight Jem weights 16 pounds.

So over all I want to know what is most lightweight that is still a real machine and not one of those that is like a toy. The i sew cute is ok, but it just too small over all. I want something to take things like sewing classes and circles. I have a pain in my shoulders that gets stressed out, if I have to lug something heavy and stairs are often involved so wheeled carriers don't solve the problem.

If the brother is lighter at 13 that sounds good, but got some bad reviews on amazon, so it would better to go with 15 to 16 pounds then to get another turkey of a machine because it only weights 11 pounds.
