| I would like to make some panel curtains and put a 3" band of contrast fabric on the leading edge. The contrast fabric is stripe and I would like to cut it on the bias. Is this possible or will it stretch and not lay flat. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

| When I did this, I staystitched the bias edges first, pressed under and applied. With heavy silk, I applied the trim by hand stitching. For kitchen cafes, I machined a loose zigzag stitch. Have fun. |
