I would like to order OIL CLOTH for a round table. How many yards of oil cloth do I have to buy to make a 60" round table cloth? Could someone advise me -- I am a new homemaker. I dislike vinyl tablecloths because they are made so cheaply. This round table is in my sun room where my hubby and I have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thank you for any advice... Marie/Cricketm

It looks like most oilcloth is 47" wide. That means you need 2 pieces 60" long, which is 120" or 3 1/3 yards. Truthfully, I've never seen oilcloth seamed together though.

Cricket - check out the link below; There are other patterns/colors you can see. Looks like the yardage is 54" wide. They also sell readymade. Good Luck.

Thank you Clt3 and wantoretire -- This morning I did order from the Vermont Country Store a red checker 60" oil cloth table cloth. Thank you for responding to my question -- I really appreciate it.
