Sewing satin ribbon on organza-need a hint

I'm currently sewing 2 flower girl dresses for my 2 GD's. The overskirt has 3 rows of ribbon sewn on from the bottom up in descending widths. I've done one but am not really happy with it. Although it lays flat it has the slightest bit of pucker in it. My DIL thinks it looks fine , but I want it to look perfect!! Any hints on sewing this type of thing-tension needles etc. Thanks for any help.

You might try some stabilizer under the organza. Tear away would be good. It would give the fabric a little body. Colleen
