hand made shag rug

hello
did anyone here make a shag rug and also had posted a pic of it. I wud like to have instructions on it . I just remember the name of the talented person started with "Radd" or something .i am not sure . can anyone help me find .

| I was at a class once that made a rug out of 2 inch polyester squares. But I don't think that is what you want. The points stand, resembling a shag. Had a canvas base. Our rugs were small (2'x3') to go in front of the kitchen sink. It's a long discription. If it is a idea for you, I'll try to explain it. |

Coop i guess we r talking abt almost the similar stuff. but i am not sure if it is made on a canvas base. the ones that i saw in Pier Import wasnt on a canvas base.

| Check out the October 2005 issue of Martha Stewart Magazine. They had a blue jean rug that was quite nice in it. You can probably get the magazine from a library. You might want to check her website as well for the pattern. Budster. |

| if you go to youtube.com, do a search for eco bath rug do-it-yourself green, she shows you how to make a bath rug out of canvas and bath towels. looks kinda cool. |

| hi, i too would like to learn how to make rugs out of the fabric i have made several braided rugs out of doubleknit fabric but they have a tendency to slide and take a while to make. it sounds like the square pieces would be easy and faster.thanks. i have many many yards of doubleknit fabric ralfsmom |
