| I made a carrier for a mini iron, and there's a pic of it in the Gallery. It's pretty cute but not the easiest thing I've ever made!

| Mary, I emailed you but you didn't answer. Probably you didn't get it. I wanted to know if you bought the kit or just the pattern. I guess price-wise it works out about the same unless you have some insulbrite and zippers lying around. Colleen |

| Hi, Colleenny, I tried to email you but Gardenweb says your address is blocked so I can't just reply to you. Sorry! I bought the pattern, the iron and teflon from Nancy's Notions, already had Insul-brite at home, so I bought a FQ and zip at the shop where I work. The FQ's are $2.50 each and the pattern only needs one. I think I bought enough teflon for two carriers. The zip is just a regular 16" one, we sell for less than $2. So I'm thinking cost-wise it turns out about the same. I would do a few little things differently on the pattern, tho, if I make a second one. Mary |
