That's a great idea. I have four children, all boys, and they each had a tooth fairy pillow. It was just a small pillow, about 4 or 5 inches square with a small pocket sewn on one side.

I found these designs while searching around the web last week. I liked them because the creator did something different with the tooth fairy pillows. I think they would be great for boys. I have 3 girls, so the "standard" tooth fairy design was always welcome here.
My mom made pillows for our girls: small rectangle shape stuffed pillow using a "fairy" print fabric and added ruffles or lace all around, then a little tooth shape (felt?) pocket to put tooth & money in. They placed it under their pillow. I like the idea to make as a door or bedpost hanging as well.
