What' this Gadget ?

Posted by hawk307 (My Page) on

This was in my Collectibles Boxes. I believe it is from the 1950's.
There are no Proof of Purchase Barcode on the Plastic Bag.
Does anyone recognize it ? Does it have anything to do with sewing ?
TIA
LOU

Drafting tool?

Manual rhinestone setting tool? You clearly put something in the jaws and push down.

Thanks for your response.
If the springs on the sides are compressed the 2 blocks on the sides go up past the jaws, about 1/8 inch.

Might have something to do with jewerly ???
I'll try a Post there.
Thanks, Lou
PS : Sherry , what are you doing here LOL !!!

Thanks for the info and the Link.
You just jogged my memory.

It is close to Presto #4 in the link.

I think my wife bought this at an Auction in the late 60's,
when I was building a Grandfathers Clock.
Never had to use it.

Don't get Old, you forget things.lol !!!

Thanks to all the others too.
