Ultra Lock Serger

I need any assistance that you guys can give me on using a serger. I tried and failed to hem a pair of jogger pant the nylon type. I am so frustrated with this machine. I can only do a rolled hem. I feel hopeless. Please help if you can. Thank you in advance for helping me. di

I don't think you can do a hem on a serger,unless they've come up with something new lately.A serger is generally used for trimming/finishing the edges,it cuts as it sews.

I stand corrected!! I just looked up the ultra lock and i guess you can do a blind hem on it these days.Sorry,should have looked it up b4 i answered.

What is the model of your machine?

Do you have the slide button sometimes on bed of the machine in front of the needles on "S" if on "R" it means rolled hem.
