Thanks teresa_nc7, this bag looks great but she is wanting one to carry piano music books, etc. to and from lessons, would need to be 12"x14" for books.

msmarion: Thanks. I have never made a brief case and not sure I want to. Hmmmmmmmm.....maybe my granddaughter will accept what I can do.

I bet this link would help. Looks rather easy. I'd imagine that the major pattern companies would have something that would work.
