Bed Skirt for Antique Bed

My antique bed is quite large and very high with heavy posts rising to just a foot from the ceiling. In your opinion, should a bed skirt be ruffled or tailored for this type bed? Thanks for your help

It depends on the room decor, not the bed style. If your room is more on the contemporary or clean lines look, go with the tailored. If it's on the girly, frilly or romantic side, go with the ruffles.
On the other hand, either would work, so go with the style you like best! :)
