Just a note...There are spray adhesives which have been
developed for holding quilt backing and tops to the batting.
This makes it possible to do your quilting without multiple
pinning. Believe it or not, this concept actually works in
many cases.
Of course, I would need more info. as to what your goals
are with this project of yours. It sound like your not planning
to finish the edges. The raw edges may fray; that is true.
But as gingertopjoan said,"elaborate more", and " what is
the fabric ???"
