Removing Dockers Patch

I have a problem of Dockers sewing their name on a patch on the derriere of menÂs slacks. I once tried using a razor blade to remove the patch and ruined a brand new pair of slacks. They sew a pocket on the inside making it impossible for you to reach the patch from the back side. The stitching is so fine, I guess the only way to remove the patch is with a magnifying glass and one of those stitch removal tools.

Can you undo the pocket, then re-stitch it after you remove the patch? I have removed appliquÃ©s and embroidered names for my DH using a seam ripper("one of those stitch removal tools")and taking my time(ie, go sloooow). You can pick up a seam ripper anywhere they sell sewing notions, even in grocery stores. Not expensive.
Can you post a picture of the patch?

If you can get to the stitching on the back, you can shave it off with an old men's electric razor. I do that quite often with shirts with an embroidered logo.
