Here's a square dance skirt & blouse that I just finished. It has 16 gores with an embroidered dancing couple from Roberta's Creations on four of the solid gores and square dance phrases on the other four solid ones. Almost all of the construction was done with a serger, with the ruffle being done with a ruffler attachment.

Gee that's a pretty outfit.....I'm sure you will get loads of compliments from other dancers. I like the color. Is this for yourself? Anyway you did a wonderful job.

Yep, it's for me...all my old sd dresses have "shrunk", having been away from dancing for a couple of years. Wish I could get my hands on the Authentic Patterns...only can get them occasionally on ebay. This pattern is a old Kwik-Sew.

I love the embroidery detail. Would have never thought of that, and it's beautiful. Susan
