The purses look great, the designs really stand out, was it hard to get the fabric in the hoop ?

The designer of this pattern recommended using sticky stabilizer and tracing around the outside of the hoop, then peeling the paper off and sticking the stabilizer to the bottom of the hoop (put the hoop together as if it had fabric in it). Then center and lay the fabric on top of the sticky stabilizer and slip a piece of tear-away stabilizer loose under the hoop. I was skeptical, but it worked like a charm. Hooping the actual fabric would've been difficult b/c it was fairly thick, and the pattern instructions had me cutting out the shapes b4 embroidering. My first stitch-out wasn't satisfactory, tho, only b/c I chose a dark green that didn't "pop" and got lost in the fabric color.

Thanks, Colleen. I have sold a few, but mostly give them as gifts. My mom got one of the denim ones and really liked it. I just finished a sweatshirt to jacket conversion and will post a pic in the gallery soon.

WOW! They look great. You have a real talent for this stuff. I wish mine turned out so neat.

Don't sell yourself short...I bet your projects turn out very well. It's just that we're always too critical of our own stuff (I can find all kinds of boo-boos in my own projects...the trick is not to point them out to anyone)!
