Heirloom Christening Gown

Here's an heirloom Christening gown I just finished for my new grandbaby. It's from Swiss batiste with Swiss insertion laces and entredeux. There's also a slip that is more plain but has an ecru embroidery on the front and the baby's name and birthdate embroidered on it (machine embroidery).

Mary, the little gown is beautiful, what a wonderful keepsake. The farbic is so delicate and the ecru insertions really stand out, Very nice Rene

The gown is so beautiful and the meaning behind is even more special. I have my dress that my Mother saved and I saved my daughters and I hung them in the spare bedroom so I see them often and love to look at them. I also love the bonnet also.. A wonderful treasure.
