Help with choosing XYRON machine

| Hi everyone,
Mom my is into scrapbooking and I just got back from Michaels where I purchased a XYRON 510 sticker/laminating/magnet machine for her. Can someone tell me if this is a good machine. I paid 60.00 for it, originally 99.99. However, now I am thinking I am being cheap and should have gotten the one that was on sale for 99.99, originaly 149.99. The only difference I can see that is the one I got doesn't use heat or need electricity or batteries and the other does. Can someone tell me the difference. My mom is into scrapbooking but it is only a hobby for her when she can find time. Any advice would be appreciated. |

| I own an Xyron 850. I love it!!! It is easy to use and will laminate 8.5 x 11 memory paper etc. It was purchased at Michaels using the "rare" 50% off coupon. I looked at alot of laminators and I am very pleased with my 850. It was a big selling point for me that this machine doesn't use heat and is easy to use. I don't think your gift is "cheap" no matter what you decided to buy. Your thoughtfulness in the gift is the best part! Smiles, Pat |

| I have the 850 becuase you can do bigger items. I love it. I don't think I would have got as much use out of the smaller one. |
